When I was 16, after finishing a course in advertising design and not returning to school, people asked me what I wanted to do in life. When you answer ‘’artist’’, they congratulate you for being an artist and tell you that it means taking drugs, eating peanut butter and being poor. And they wish you luck.

I definitely wanted to be an artist! I also wanted to understand the elements that surround this status: marketing, sales, communication, management. So, I worked in several areas to gain knowledge and part-time, I sold drawings, then displays in windows and in stores, and finally, I had the opportunity to design a first store with the goal of launching my career as a designer, a profession I have practiced for over 35 years and many more to come. The most amazing thing I’ve discovered through trial and error in 35 years is that there’s more to design than colors and finishes. 

It is more important to understand people, because effective design includes three important factors:

• It must create an emotional reaction on the individual;
• To do this, we need to use art, which is the key to communication;
• Finally, three elements of marketing are essential: attract, interest and deliver a message.

Why use these three factors only for businesses? They should be available to every person. This is why I created my artwork collection. It is very important to understand that you are exceptional; my artwork is made to communicate only good thoughts and create a huge aesthetic in your house.
